Australian gemstones: Eckart Johannes has long standing relationships with opal miners and sapphire miners in Australia. If you are looking for a hard to get gemstone, he will go the extra mile to find your special gem.
Recycled gold and platinum is used when possible, otherwise Eckart Johannes uses original Australian mined gold.

A lifelong trade
1980
I started in the jewellery trade, training with the goldsmith Richard Ivey, north of Adelaide in South Australia. This started my lifelong passion for goldsmithing, jewellery design and fine gemstones.
1984

I moved back to Australia and set up shop on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
2021
A new opportunity came up and I moved my studio closer to Brisbane, to my present location at Cleveland, Qld 4163.
2026
Today I am enjoying my creative work more than ever. Crafting bespoke jewellery treasures for my small group of private clients is my absolute passion
